Toro Rosso driver Daniel Ricciardo was left ruing a final lap fuel pick-up failure that left him down in twelfth place.

Driving for the team that won the Italian Grand Prix in 2008, Ricciardo started fourteenth and was in tenth place on the final lap.

It's been so hard to score points this year and that means it is incredibly disappointing not to get one today. I was 10th until the last corner on the very last lap", said the Australian

"At that point, I accelerated to exit Parabolica and nothing happened. At the moment, I don't know the cause, but to miss out on a point by a few hundred metres is bitterly disappointing."
