Hamilton wins a dramatic Japanese GP

Three-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton won the Japanese Grand Prix from the pole position, scoring his 61st career Formula One victory, his eighth of the season and third at Suzuka. Hamilton’s margin of victory was 1.211 seconds over Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. The triumph, combined with a DNF by Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, who is Hamilton’s nearest championship pursuer, allowed the Mercedes driver to increase his lead in the standings to a stout 59 points. Hamilton sets new lap record with pole time

Taking the pole for the Japanese Grand Prix was Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. His fast lap of 1:27.319 was .332 of a second better than runner-up and teammate Valtteri Bottas and it set a new all-time fastest lap at Suzuka, breaking the mark of 1:28.954 set by Michael Schumacher in 2006 during Q2 while driving for Scuderia Ferrari. Hamilton transforms pole in win

Lewis Hamilton won the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, scoring his 58th career Formula One victory, his fifth of the season and his third at Spa. Hamilton’s margin of victory was 2.358 seconds over Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton will start the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday from pole position after setting the quickest time of the qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:42.553 set an all-time track record at Spa, one-upping the hours-old mark of 1:43.916 set by Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Räikkönen in final practice (FP3). The 12th round of the 2017 Formula One Championship began with two practice session on Friday at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps as teams prepared for the Belgian Grand Prix. The two 90-minute sessions were run under disparate weather conditions, with FP1 run under a warm and sunny sky while FP2 began cloudy and ended with rain. Ferrari fastest in both testing days

Scuderia Ferrari set the fastest times during both testing days at the Hungaroring circuit on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was the second and final in-season test for the Formula One teams.  Ferrari's Charles Leclerc set the quickest time (1:17.746) during the first day of testing, with Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas recording the most laps (155). Quickest on the final day at Hungaroring was Sebastian Vettel with a 1:17.124. Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel expands his championship lead after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday over team mate Kimi Raikkonen. The four-time Formula One champion won the race from the pole, leading all 70 laps to secure his 46th career Formula One victory, his fourth of the season and his second at the Hungaroring. Scuderia Ferrari drivers will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from first row after setting the two fastest times in Qualifying on Saturday. Sebastian Vettel's lap of 1:16.276 was the quickest all-time at the Hungaroring and .168 of a second better than runner-up and teammate Kimi Räikkönen. Lewis Hamilton will start the British Grand Prix from pole position after setting the fastest time during qualifying on Saturday.  The session began in wet conditions, with light rain dampening the track enough that teams used the intermediate tire throughout Q1.
