Ferrari scores front row lock-out

Sebastian Vettel will start the Russian Grand Prix from pole position after scoring the fastest time during the qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:33.194 set a new track qualifying record and was .059 of a second better than runner-up and teammate Kimi Räikkönen. Nico Rosberg held the previous track qualifying record of 1:35.337 set last year in Q2, and Vettel’s pole-winning time beat it by 2.143 seconds. Ferrari tops Friday practice sessions

The fourth round of the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship began with practice Friday at the Sochi Autodrom, as teams prepared for the Russian Grand Prix on Sunday. The fastest times in both FP1 and FP2 were set by Scuderia Ferrari drivers. Mercedes continues to set peace in testing

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport completed 143 laps of the Bahrain International Circuit on Wednesday, as the first in-season test of 2017 concluded in Bahrain. Valtteri Bottas was behind the wheel of the W08 EQ Power+ and ended the day top of the timesheets, clocking a 1:31.280 on the SuperSoft compound Pirelli tyre late in the afternoon. Hamilton quickest in opening testing day

The first of two days of testing at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir began on Tuesday, with all 10 teams competing in the 2017 Formula One Championship being present. Vettel wins his third Bahrain GP

Sebastian Vettel won the Bahrain Grand Prix by 6.660 seconds over Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to earn his second victory of the 2017 Formula One championship. Scuderia Ferrari driver won the season-opening Australian GP now leads the standings by seven points over Hamilton. Bottas beats teammate for pole

Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas will start the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday from pole position after setting the fastest time during Qualifying. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton will start the the Chinese Grand Prix from pole position after setting the fastest lap ever turned at the Shanghai International Circuit in Qualifying. His lap of 1:31.678 was .186 of a second better than runner-up Sebastian Vettel. Sebastian Vettel won the season-opening Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, from Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. Vettel’s margin of victory was 9.975 seconds over Hamilton, while only the top 6 drivers finished the race in the same lap. This was Vettel’s and Scuderia Ferrari’s first victory since the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix.
