Hamilton clinches victory in Barcelona

Lewis Hamilton won an eventful Spanish the Grand Prix from Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, scoring his 55th Formula One career victory, his second of the season and his second at Barcelona. Hamilton’s margin of victory was 3.490 seconds over Scuderia Ferrari’s driver, which cut Vettel’s lead in the championship standings to six points with still 15 races remaining. Race results: 1.  L. Hamilton tops qualifying session

Lewis Hamilton will start the Spanish Grand Prix from pole position after sweeping all of the top spots in each round of qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:19.149 set a new track qualifying record and was .051 of a second better than runner-up Sebastian Vettel. Bottas claims maiden F1 victory

Valtteri Bottas won the Russian Grand Prix to score his maiden Formula One victory by .617 of a second over Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. The result came after 81 races in Formula One, but only his fourth with Mercedes. The Finn took over Nico Rosberg's seat at Mercedes, after The German retired at the end of the 2016 season. Ferrari scores front row lock-out

Sebastian Vettel will start the Russian Grand Prix from pole position after scoring the fastest time during the qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:33.194 set a new track qualifying record and was .059 of a second better than runner-up and teammate Kimi Räikkönen. Mercedes continues to set peace in testing

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport completed 143 laps of the Bahrain International Circuit on Wednesday, as the first in-season test of 2017 concluded in Bahrain. Valtteri Bottas was behind the wheel of the W08 EQ Power+ and ended the day top of the timesheets, clocking a 1:31.280 on the SuperSoft compound Pirelli tyre late in the afternoon.
