Manor Marussia is set to bring its first upgrades of 2015 for its home race at Silverstone this weekend.
The outfit occupies last position in the Constructors' championship and has been using a modified version of its 2014 challenger, the MR03B, since it returned to the grid in Malaysia earlier this year.
The squad will now bring an update to its modified car this weekend and team boss John Booth is hopeful that the gap to its nearest rivals will be shortened.
"It’s true that a home crowd always provides an extra boost, and to add to that we have a new bodywork package for this race, which is the product of a lot of hard work over the past few months to help develop our current car and ensure we continue to reduce the gap to the teams ahead" said Booth.
"All in all, we’re looking forward to an exciting weekend and hopefully another Silverstone classic."
