Lotus has confirmed that Kimi Raikkonen will continue to race for the team in 2013.
Raikkonen had initially signed a two year contract at the end of 2011 and he met performance based clauses in his deal, meaning that his continuation with the team was merely a formality.
In a video posted to Youtube by Lotus, they confirmed that the Finn will continue his association with the team into 2013.
Raikkonen has enjoyed a successful comeback to the sport, taking six podiums on his way to lying third in the championship, although a win has so far eluded him. He has finished every race in 2012 and only failed to score points in China.
