Fernando Alonso says he has an 'ambitious plan' for the future as rumours persist over where he will race in Formula 1 next season.
Alonso has driven for Ferrari since 2010 but recently departed president Luca di Montezemolo revealed after the Russian Grand Prix that the Spaniard is to leave the team, while Sebastian Vettel is set to fill the seat vacated by Alonso.
But Alonso has not yet confirmed his plans for 2015, despite hinting on Thursday that he knows what he will be doing next year.
"I know, yes. More or less," he said when asked if he knew where he would be driving next season.
"I have a very ambitious plan in my head for my future.
"I think that this is the best thing for Ferrari as well. If that happens people will be very, very excited – as I am.
"I am extremely happy and all the things in the last two or three months follow exactly the plan that I had."
Alonso is currently in sixth place in the championship, having finished on the podium just twice all season.
