Ferrari has confirmed that their 2013 challenger, to be launched on Friday, will be called the F138.
Ferrari's decision to label the car the F138 is "a combination of the current year and the number of cylinders, partly to mark the fact that this will be the last year that the V8 engine configuration will be used in Formula 1, bringing to an end what will be an eight year career."
Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will race the car, which will be unveiled at Maranello in two days' time.
