The FIA has confirmed that Jules Bianchi has suffered a severe head injury in an accident at the Japanese Grand Prix. Bianchi struck a recovery vehicle which was moving the wreckage of Adrian Sutil's Sauber at Dunlop Curve, which had crashed one lap earlier as weather conditions worsened. British youngster Will Stevens has joined Alexander Rossi as an official reserve driver at Marussia.
