Manor Marussia declared themselves 'thrilled' as their car hit the circuit for the first time during practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix. Manor hopeful of competing in Malaysia

Manor team principal John Booth says that the squad has take a leap forwards as it prepares to compete in Malaysia this weekend. Manor was present in Australia but neither Will Stevens nor Roberto Merhi took to the circuit all weekend. Booth is hopeful that the situation can be rectified at Sepang after a difficult period for the re-born team. Manor signs Merhi to second seat

Manor has confirmed that Spanish driver Roberto Merhi will make his Formula 1 debut for the team in Australia this weekend, completing the 20-strong Formula 1 grid. Merhi spent part of 2014 in a test driver role at Caterham, where he participated in free practice for the team in Italy, Japan and Russia. Manor passes FIA crash tests

Manor's return to Formula 1 has moved a step closer after the team confirmed that it had passed all of the FIA's mandatory crash tests. Manor announced on Wednesday that it would race in Australia but its modified car still had to meet the FIA's safety standards. Manor confirms return to Formula 1

Manor has confirmed that it will compete in next weekend's Australian Grand Prix, ensuring that 10 teams will start the new campaign. Manor revealed that Stephen Fitzpatrick is the team's new investor and that former Sainsbury's CEO Justin King - father of GP2 racer Jordan - will act as interim team chairman. Manor Marussia has been included on the updated FIA entry list, which was published by the sport's governing body on Friday afternoon. The squad exited administration earlier this month through a Company Voluntary Agreement and emphasised earlier this week that it intended to compete in the Australian Grand Prix. Ferrari has provisionally agreed to supply Manor with engines, if the squad is able to compete in the upcoming campaign.
