Manor's return to Formula 1 has moved a step closer after the team confirmed that it had passed all of the FIA's mandatory crash tests.
Manor announced on Wednesday that it would race in Australia but its modified car still had to meet the FIA's safety standards.
"Our big news of today is that we have now passed the FIA crash tests," Manor posted on Twitter.
"Well done team! That's it - we're all set for Melbourne!"
Manor confirmed recently that Will Stevens will drive one of the cars, with the second seat yet to be filled.
