Sirotkin set to drive in FP1

After a productive test in Bahrain, Renault Sport Formula One Team Third and Reserve Driver Sergey Sirotkin will take over Nico Hülkenberg’s duties for the first practice session in Sochi. Sirotkin positive after Renault debut

Sergey Sirotkin labelled his Renault debut as 'positive' as he competed in the first practice session at the Russian Grand Prix. Sirotkin, 20, returned to a Formula 1 car for the first time since he participated in the corresponding session at the 2014 running of his home event. Sirotkin joins Renault as test driver

Renault has signed Sergey Sirotkin as a test driver with a long term development plan, with the youngster set to make his practice debut at this weekend's Russian Grand Prix. Sirotkin, 20, finished third in his rookie GP2 campaign last year and will continue in the championship in 2016 in place of Stoffel Vandoorne at ART Grand Prix. Sergey Sirotkin says he feels 'ready' for Formula 1 after his practice outing for Sauber at the Russian Grand Prix. Sirotkin gets Sochi practice outing

Sergey Sirotkin will make his Formula 1 practice debut when he gets behind the wheel of the Sauber C33 at next month's Russian Grand Prix. Sirotkin demonstrated a Sauber C31 at the venue last year before getting a full day of testing in the C33 in Bahrain in April. Sirotkin had been set to race for Sauber this season but the Swiss team opted to retain Esteban Gutierrez. Sirotkin says de Silvestro role 'a marketing ploy'

Sergey Sirotkin has denied his future at Sauber is being overshadowed by the Swiss female driver Simona de Silvestro. Van der Garde and Sirotkin get Bahrain test nod

Sauber test drivers Giedo van der Garde and Sergey Sirotkin will drive the C33 during the post-race test in Bahrain. Van der Garde raced for Caterham in 2013 but switched to Sauber for this year to become the team's official reserve driver. The Dutch driver will test for the team next Wednesday.
