Wehrlein disappointed to miss Force India test day

Pascal Wehrlein expressed disappointment at missing out on a testing day with Force India, but hailed the Mercedes W06 Hybrid as 'amazing.' Wehrlein, who drove for both Force India and Mercedes pre-season, was scheduled to drive the VJM08 on Tuesday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, but illness scuppered those plans. Barcelona in-season test line-up

Formula 1 reconvenes at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the first of two in-season tests, which take place on Tuesday and Wednesday at the home of the Spanish Grand Prix. Wehrlein enthused over Force India, Mercedes outings

Pascal Wehrlein expressed his happiness after he received test outings with both Force India and Mercedes at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Thursday. Wehrlein was called up by Mercedes to replace the unwell Lewis Hamilton and after sampling Force India's 2014 car, he switched to Mercedes' 2015 machine for the afternoon session. Mercedes eyes Friday role for Wehrlein in 2015

Pascal Wehrlein could be a regular name on the F1 race circuits in the near future. In September, Mercedes signed the now 20-year-old German to be the dominant F1 team's new reserve driver.
