Hamilton leads Mercedes 1-2 victory

Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas race to a perfect result on Mercedes home turf at Hockenheim, scoring a 1-2 finish after Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel slithered into the barriers on lap 52. After starting from P14, Hamilton stormed through the field to claim his 66th career victory – his fourth of the 2018 season and fourth at the German Grand Prix, equalling Michael Schumacher’s record for most F1 wins at the race. Vettel secures pole on home ground

Sebastian Vettel qualified in pole position for tomorrow’s German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring. His lap of 1:11.212 was good enough to secure his 55th pole position, the fifth this year. Team-mate Kimi Raikkonen will start tomorrow’s race from third on the grid having set a best time of 1:11.547. The seventh round of the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship began with practice Friday at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal as teams prepared for the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday. Two 90-minute sessions – FP1 and FP2 – on the 4.361-kilometer circuit were run under sunny and comfortable conditions. Ricciardo wins dramatic Monaco GP

Despite having power issues starting with lap 28, Daniel Ricciardo manage to win the Monaco Grand Prix from pole to deliver Red Bull its 57th win in its milestone 250th race. Ricciardo’s margin of victory over Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel was a stout 7.336 seconds. Ricciardo gets Monaco pole

After setting the pace in all three practice sessions in Monte Carlo, Daniel Ricciardo went on to score the fastest time in qualifying on Saturday. His fast lap of 1:10.810 set a new track qualifying record at Monaco and was .229 of a second better than runner-up Sebastian Vettel of Scuderia Ferrari.
