Hamilton unbeatable in qualifying

Lewis Hamilton will start the British Grand Prix from pole position after setting the fastest time during qualifying on Saturday.  The session began in wet conditions, with light rain dampening the track enough that teams used the intermediate tire throughout Q1. Drivers tiptoed on the wet surface as traction was hard to come by. The rain abated in Q2, allowing the track to dry enough for a return to slicks. Bottas fastest in both Friday sessions

The 10th round of the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship began with practice on Friday at Silverstone Circuit, as teams prepared for the British Grand Prix on Sunday. British GP future thrown into doubt

BRDC chairman John Grant has confirmed in letter to members that the Silverstone circuit will considering terminating its F1 contract from 2020. The news comes as a shock to Motorsport fans around Britain. The 2016 British GP attracted a record attendance over the four day weekend, with 122,000 spectators on Race day. Hungaroring upgrades confirmed for Moto GP arrival

Hungary is hoping that updates to its Budapest based circuit can secure the Moto GP series for the first time. The Hungaroring is currently undergoing a three year update programme, which began in March last year. The first stage was resurfacing the full 2.72 miles of circuit, the first time this has been done since the circuit’s construction in 1985. Hamilton clinches victory in Barcelona

Lewis Hamilton won an eventful Spanish the Grand Prix from Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, scoring his 55th Formula One career victory, his second of the season and his second at Barcelona. Hamilton tops qualifying session

Lewis Hamilton will start the Spanish Grand Prix from pole position after sweeping all of the top spots in each round of qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:19.149 set a new track qualifying record and was .051 of a second better than runner-up Sebastian Vettel. Bottas claims maiden F1 victory

Valtteri Bottas won the Russian Grand Prix to score his maiden Formula One victory by .617 of a second over Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. The result came after 81 races in Formula One, but only his fourth with Mercedes. The Finn took over Nico Rosberg's seat at Mercedes, after The German retired at the end of the 2016 season.
