Briatore: Ferrari comeback rumours 'nonsense'

Flavio Briatore has rubbished speculation he is eyeing a return to formula one management. Recent rumours have linked the flamboyant former Renault boss, banned from F1 because of the 2009 'crashgate' scandal, with a leading role at Ferrari. Fernandes to buy Ecclestone's QPR stake

Yet another F1 name is being linked with Queens Park Rangers (QPR), the London football club that will contest the 2011-12 Premier League. The Financial Times (FT) and The Observer report that Tony Fernandes, owner and team principal of Team Lotus, is set to buy 51 per cent of the club from F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone. Grosjean to test Heidfeld's car in Singapore

Romain Grosjean will take a big step towards returning to formula one in September. Italy's Autosprint reports that the Swiss-born Frenchman is set to stand in during Friday morning practice in Singapore for Renault's Nick Heidfeld.
