Kvyat pleased with career best result

Daniil Kvyat expressed his satisfaction after achieving the best qualifying result of his Formula 1 career. Toro Rosso optimistic despite car issues

Toro Rosso duo Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat say they are optimistic over the squad's chances at this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix, despite both encountering issues during Friday practice. Vergne suffered a battery issue in the first session while a fuel leak damaged the power unit in Kvyat's STR9 during the second session. Toro Rosso has confirmed that Daniil Kvyat will race for the team in 2014, alongside Jean-Eric Vergne. Renault has confirmed that it will supply Scuderia Toro Rosso with engines from the start of next season.
