McLaren's development Honda-powered car appeared for the first time during a filming day at Silverstone on Friday. McLaren-Honda to run on Friday

Honda's new engine will be tested on track for the first time on Friday ahead of its return to Formula 1 in 2015. McLaren has confirmed that a modified version of its current car, the MP4-29, will be fitted with Honda's new Power Unit and tested at Silverstone on Friday. Charles Pic says that Pirelli's 18 inch concept tyres feel significantly different to the current 13 inch rims which are raced on in the sport. Leal earns Formula 1 superlicense

GP2 racer Julian Leal has earned his Formula 1 super license after driving the required 300km at the third in-season test at Silverstone. Leal rounded out the runners as he tested for Caterham, finishing 7.3s slower than fastest driver Jules Bianchi. Bianchi not fazed by Ferrari run

Jules Bianchi says he is not fazed by switching from Marussia to Ferrari for the second day of the third in-season test at Silverstone. Bianchi, who conducted tyre testing in the MR-03 on Tuesday morning, ended the day in fifth position, although his 108 lap programme came to an end due to a small fire. Felipe Massa set the fastest time for Williams on the first day of the third in-season test at Silverstone. Massa’s time of 1:35.242, which he set during the first half of running, was not beaten after lunch and remained the quickest time of the day. The third of four in-season tests takes place this week at Silverstone, following on from last weekend's British Grand Prix. All 11 Formula 1 teams will be in attendance across the two days, with the track open from 9am to 5pm local time.
