Haas disappointed with double DNF

Haas F1 Team entered the first round of the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship with plenty of optimism. Unfortunately, the team left the season-opening Australian Grand Prix disappointed after suffering a double DNF (Did Not Finish) with its both drivers. The optimism came in the form of Grosjean’s sixth-place qualifying effort on Saturday. Haas presents its 2017 challenger

Haas F1 Team’s 2017 challenger in the Formula One World Championship made its official debut today via the organization’s social media platforms and website. The car hits the track Monday for the first day of pre-season testing at Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya. Gutiérrez struggled in his home race

Esteban Gutiérrez finished 19th in the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday after surviving getting sandwiched between Marcus Ericsson’s Sauber and Pascal Wehrlein’s Manor through turn one at the start of the race. Despite contact that sent Wehrlein spinning off track and into Ericsson and then into the barriers, Gutiérrez emerged unscathed in 14th. Poor debut for Haas on home soil

Haas did not enjoy a positive debut on home soil after experiencing a series of issues on Friday with the main one being the rear brake drum’s winglets falling off the car. The team says the loads are very high in Austin and this might have caused the problems, but hopes to fix it before heading into the last practice session. Haas frustrated over pointless race

Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutiérrez did not bring any point to their team after finished 11th and 20th, respectively in the Japanese GP at Suzuka. Haas tweaks name ahead of 2016 debut
