Chilton expects to stay with Marussia

Max Chilton says he expects to remain with Marussia for a second season in 2014. Chilton made his debut for the team in Australia and recorded a best finish of 14th place in Monaco. Alonso visits hospital as a precaution

Fernando Alonso has been taken to hospital for precautionary checks on his back after running over kerbs at high speed during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Alonso was exiting the pit lane when he encountered the Toro Rosso of Jean-Eric Vergne. The Spaniard bounced over the kerbs at 150mph, with the impact so severe that it triggered an alarm in the car that means drivers must go to the medical centre as a precaution. Vettel takes crushing victory in Abu Dhabi

Sebastian Vettel secured his seventh successive win after crushing the opposition at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Vettel beat pole sitter Mark Webber by half a minute, with Nico Rosberg in third. Romain Grosjean finished in fourth, ahead of Fernando Alonso. Kvyat secures GP3 title with win

2014 Toro Rosso driver Daniil Kvyat secured the GP3 championship after an emphatic victory at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Mark Webber secured pole position for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after a last gasp effort at the Yas Marina Circuit. Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time during final practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
