Force India pair happy with big points haul

Force India pair Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez claimed sixth and seventh to ensure that the squad departed the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with 28 points. Hulkenberg and Perez both started from outside of the top 10 but made progress, albeit their haul was not sufficient for the squad to jump ahead of McLaren in the fight for fifth in the Constructors' Championship. Magnussen: Early contact damaged car

Kevin Magnussen believes that his chances of securing a good result at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix were hindered by an opening lap clash with Adrian Sutil. Magnussen slipped back at the start and collided with the German exiting the Turn 7 hairpin, causing some damage to the front of his McLaren. "That was a difficult race," he said. "I had quite a bit of contact with Adrian on the first lap – and, after that, the front of the car never felt quite right, […]

Rosberg accepts Hamilton deserved title

Nico Rosberg has said that Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton deserved this year's title after the Brit claimed the world championship at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Hamilton won the race while Rosberg dropped back to 14th position after his Mercedes developed ERS issues mid-way through the 55-lap race. "All in all, Lewis deserved to win the championship," said Rosberg. "I'm very disappointed, but what happened to me had no impact, it did not change anything, so there is no point focusing on that. He did […]

Hamilton: I'm still in the fight

Lewis Hamilton says he is happy that he is still in the fight for the world title after qualifying in second position for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. "I’m not particularly disappointed," he said. "Of course you always want to be on pole, Q1, Q2 was good, Q3 [I] didn’t put a lap together. […]
