He shouldnt get a penalty. Just like he shouldnt have got a penalty in valencia.

Just a racing incident. maldanado started to slide and because sergio was on the outside he slid into him. If sergio wasnt on the outside, he wouldve escaped and took maldanado on his inside. So its a racing incident.

Same with valencia, upon corner entry both cars were level, lewis was harsh but fair and put him off the track (which is legal and what Rosberg did which i thought was wrong), He hugged the white line, didnt account for maldanado coming back on track instead of going over the sleeping policemen and again collided.

its just racing imo. collisions like Malda on Perez and lewis in spa deserve penalties. I dont even think id give lewis a penalty for monaco 2011 really. Cars hit each other and thats it.

Looking at it again I think this one was more of a racing incident than anyone's fault, Perez's reaction was down to Maldonado's incidents...

It would be funny to take Pérez and Maldonado and lock them together in a room with a microphone (to hear from outside what they say). The discussion could be pretty funny :zz:

Remember the Trulli / Sutil press conference at Abu Dhabi 2009 after their collision in Brazil? Get Perez and Maldonado in the Germany press conference.

Maldonado has always had a bad reputation on that matter, way before he was in F1.

Even after he won the GP2 title it was 'he's fast but...'.

Seems Alonso's strategy could have been based on there being rain later in the race...

Sky did a bit about it being made in the F1 season. Was surprisingly funny, 'here from the 1995 season one of Nigel Mansell's original moustaches.'

Last year Schumacher did the same mistake as Maldonado today when he crashed into Kobayashi. He got a 10 seconds stop and go-penalty even though it was wet.

You have a point there, perhaps this might be the case. They started with the hard compound that gave more speed and if it rained they wouldn't have to use the soft one.
