Windows Media Center Issues

Just wondering if anyone is having trouble with windows media center on windows 7 not recording shows, usually if my disk space is low it will not record but today i had 50gb free and came home to find that all of todays f1 on BBC (practice 3 and qualifying also practice 1 on Thursday) has not recorded, can anybody help me please as this is not the first time that this has happened?

I'm not familiar with media center or any such, but you could check if there is any error messages in event log. It is under Control Panel -> System and Security in Administrative Tools. There could be something in Windows Logs.

Is there any way to completely remove Windows Media Center? I've managed to disable it but it seems pointless having it sitting on my machine still. I'm on a Vista.
