Re: converting to dvd
Hi, you can use ConvertXtoDVD.F1J03 wrote:i have been recording every race of the season onto dvd except from one that i missed, how could i convert a downloaded .mkv file to dvd?
thanks
P.S: It's not a free software.
Re: converting to dvd
ive tried it but for some reason the result does not play as smoothly as the source file, is there a way around this or am i just doing something wrong?
Re: converting to dvd
Try the 2pass converting. You can find it in the settings.F1J03 wrote:ive tried it but for some reason the result does not play as smoothly as the source file, is there a way around this or am i just doing something wrong?
Re: converting to dvd
thanks i tried it but its still not better. I worked out it wasn't smooth because i was converting form 50fps to 25fps. Although this : test.mpg - 22.5 Mb was recorded in 25fps but still plays smoother.
Re: converting to dvd
Your DVD player, when it has a 25 FPS video that is interlaced, does the de-interlacing automatically by using a method which doubles the framerate (so ir effectively plays at 50 FPS). When you used that program for conversion, you de-interlaced the video by a method that didn't double the framerate so the resulting video plays at 25 FPS and is non-interlaced, hence your DVD player can't double its framerate because it gets a non-interlaced input.
Re: converting to dvd
i managed to convert the file to an interlaced video at 25fps mpeg2 and it looks good. However the file is 1280x720. Is there a quick way of changing this to 720x576?
thanks
