McLaren & Ferrari tussled over 2nd best all year. RB were fastest but for Canada & Monza. Canada McLaren were best, in Italy Ferrari were best.

yes because the FIA made it illegal afterwards. The rules clearly say that you can attack after the safety car line when the safety car comes in and that's what Schumacher did. But for some reason they had to punish him.

Well ross brawns wrong. Marshals still waved yellow flags over the line, yellow flags equal no overtaking for the end of the race. Stewards examined the incident following the race and deemed that Schumacher had broken regulations that state that drivers can't overtake if the race ends when the Safety Car has been deployed – with the Safety Car returning to the pits and the drivers then taking the chequered flag in the order they were running.

So, schumacher was in the wron. simple as. Not an overtake. it was illegal. just like his time in testing the pirellis.

Agreed.

Mclaren had rotten luck with lewis crashing out of second due to no fault of his own. Mclaren easily were better than ferrari. Alonso was opportunistic.

Mclaren were better in australia, china, canada as you say, spain and generally the first half of the season joost.

The reason ferrari came back so much, was simply because lewis made 2 errors in his overtaking which in the end, has dented his confidence which I see was evident in brazil. The real lewis would have made Hulk feel the heigh of eddy jordan with his overtaking. But he was so tame on the brakes. And lets not forget how bad massa was in the ferrari.

There were no marshals waving yellow flags & the lights were green :O

Really? I thought it finished under yellow flag conditions....

*edit* And thats my mistake. Green flags WERE shown, but on the tv screen it said safety car in this lap and yellow flag something or other.

Nowt like having a safety car restart line than you can overtake from but if its the last lap you cant overtake on the safety car restart line even with green flags.

I recall ferrari on the radio saying to alonso theres no overtaking allowed just roll to the finish....

The issue was that 'SC in this lap' meant restart, so overtaking was theoretically permitted after the SC line (at the pit entry) but the last lap meant no racing was going to start so it was just a messy rule.

Well, Bahrein obviously a Ferrari 1-2, but I don't know if McLaren were faster in Australia, China: wrong strategy by Ferrari? From Silverstone/Valencia on Ferrari had the better car. Spain was McLaren, then Monaco Ferrari were stronger and then Turkey where McLaren scored another 1-2...

Yeah, McLaren were bad everywhere there were bumps: Bahrain, Monaco, Singapore and places where the tracks were short, twisty turns (Hungary). They were better than Ferrari on fast flowing circuits (Istanbul, Spa) but Red Bull were superior still!

Vettel's qualifying record was outstanding: 1, 1, 3, 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 4, 6, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1. Only twice out of the top three. Wow.

A little bit late, but this is my opinion:

1 - Best Driver
Fernando Alonso. Ferrari hasn´t the best car, but he wins 5 races, has a lot of great overtakes and was almost the world champion.

2 - Best Team
Red Bull. They had the best car and win finally the constructure championship.

3 - Best Overtake
Hamilton overtakes Button in Turkey in fight of the gran prix win. Their fight was awesome!

4 - Best Moment
"Okay Felipe, Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?"

5 - Worst Driver
Michael Schumacher. Seven-times worldchampion, but 00Rosberg blew him away.

6 - Worst Team
Mercedes. Champions 2009, but 2010 only a shadow of the last year. Bad strategies, slow car, all in all a bad season for Mercedes.

7 - Best Rookie
Nico Hulkenberg, for all the performances and the pole position.

8 - Biggest Surprise
Nico Hulkenberg on Pole position in Brazil.
