@ Rosberg picture.
Reminds me of this:
Reminds me of this:
Best known is probably an incident in which Berger replaced Senna's passport photo with what Ron Dennis described as "an equivalent-sized piece of male genitalia". Senna's fame meant he rarely had his passport checked, but on a later trip to Argentina Berger's prank resulted in officials holding the Brazilian for 24 hours. As a response to this gag, Senna superglued all of Berger's credit cards together.

There's a good stat for the season. No one won a race when they were leading the championship.

Fernando fist gesture was unnecessary but given his circumstances i will him a clean chit on that. The reason why he was stuck behind so long is due to the nature of the track. The one possible place for overtake would be the hairpin, but it has a chicane right before which cuts out the speed and slipstream advantage necessary to make a pass. Blame Herman Tilke ... Adding new tracks to the calendar is most welcome, but not to cost of boring parade going on there. Yas Marinas circuit can serve as an excellent aerodynamic field test location but for racing purposes its equivalent to Monaco !nano1alonso wrote:JoostLamers wrote:I think Alonso's gesture was very weak, the weakest thing that I saw a driver has done in the 2010 season. It showed his lack of ability, and pressure handling in that situation, not worthy of a double World Champion, with his talent and qualities. He should have kept his emotions under control. And you do not lose a World Championship in the last race, you lose (and win) a championship over a whole year. And Petrov? Come on, if you wanna become World Champion, you have to get passed a driver like him, he is so far down on Kubica.
This is why I think Alonso's gesture was really weak, and showed no respect to Petrov (Although I do not like Petrov)
I can understand if you dislike the way he acts, But his actions are far for showing he is weak. Emotions run high while racing he was pissed at Petrov for not getting passed him so he let out his anger its apart of being human. And Alonso is latin I mean look at Ayrton Senna everyone hated him for doing just the same thing i would hardly call Ayrton weak.
I think Abu Dhabi was a massive anti climax. And it showed up everything what is wrong with are sport.
The new tracks being made never challenge a driver and more often than not overtaking chances are done when the driver is put into a position of making a mistake. It was said by Martin Brundle that its very hard to make a mistake on this track because its so smooth and its not challanging.
These cars are so downforce dependent that following another car is really hard. Not to mention the mass of limatations of the rules. They are rev limited so when it comes to the end of a stright your already hitting the max revs. So the way the track layout is made its flawed because "slipstreaming" is pointless
This made me smile. The thing i love about Martin is he is good for the sport and more often than not he seems to have the same views of the fans.

The chicane-straight-chicane DOES NOT WORK. The sooner the designers understand that, the better. The track hosts dull GP2 races as well...

Good to see the people lower down the chain get paid a good wage. They deserve it.

Have you watched the onboard video with Hamilton? Why do the downshifts sound like an old lawn mower?
Re: 2010 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix *SHOWDOWN*
It's probably due to ignition retarding for exhaust blown diffusers. By this way, they are able to maintain throttle and combustion even during downshifting hence a better efficiency and balance from the diffuser.Vorull wrote:Have you watched the onboard video with Hamilton?
