What happened there anywhere? Wasn't on the screens, was it? Just saw the ambulance...
Yamamoto pulled away when the mechanic was leaning in the car, hence Sniff's tweet:
So there was a man actually reaching into the cockpit and Yamamoto decided to DRIVE OFF? Did he think he was being CAR JACKED?

A mechanic was fixing the radio by adjusting something on the back of Yamamoto's helmet as he was having in his pitstops. For whatever reason Yamamoto drove off halfway through his radio connection being fixed, sending the mechanic flying. They didn't show it on TV, must have looked really bad or the TV simply didn't bother watching a HRT pitstop.

Button's analysis is that the fact he could not do a fast enough out lap and had "shuddering" under braking cost him victory

Oh my god!
I hope he makes a full recovery. Yamamoto is nothing but slow and dangerous!

That was terrible. Hopefully the mechanic has not significant injuries.

But in all fairness, the lollipop man let him out.

Wow. That radio man was very lucky. If he had flipped the wrong way, he could have ended up with his head right under Yamamoto's left rear tire.

Fernando Alonso has put a superb performance today!! Great drive by him, loved how he resists to Button in the first chicane after his tyres stop!
This year, I begun to dislike Alonso but what he did today ( with Jenson too ) is truly world class. Same battle as Schumacher/Montoya or Schumacher/Raikkonen at this circuit!

Great race for Ferrari, Great win. In Singapure Ferrari will fight with Red Bull, Mclaren car its not good for that kind of track maybe fighting for 4 or if lucky third.
