Race Date: 29 Aug 2010

The Grand Prix circus returns to Spa after an absence of a year due to failed negotiations over tobacco adverstising.
In every sense one of the classics on the calendar. A circuit both spectacular and emotive; La Source hairpin, the downhill plunge to Eau Rouge, the forest setting and the longest lap distance in the World Championship.
But the weather and size of the track means it can be problematic for drivers. It can be dry in one place and wet in another.
Some of the course follows public roads, but the track boasts excellent facilities for teams, officials and media. It has been the home of the Belgian Grand Prix on a permanent basis since 1985.

I expect Ferrari to be strong here as they like fast tracks and fast corners, while the Mercedes powered cars will also be strong as this, Monza and maybe Silverstone are the only tracks where straight line speed is of any great importance. Should be a really exciting event, Spa I think has some similarities to Istanbul and we had a close tussle there. With the weather as well, should be a cracker.

Don't Forget Force India, yeah I agree Mclaren will be competitive here (high speed and good braking).

I agree with McLaren being more competitive here. I think Sauber might be a dark horse too. Remember BMW last year with Heidfeld and Kubica qualifying 3rd and 5th?

1) Pole either for Red Bull (Vettel) or Mclaren (Hamilton) and Hamilton will win the race.
2) Lewis Hamilton
3) the next 2 grand prix should be good for Mclaren but then Ferrari and Red Bull will have the better cars for the last 4 or 5 races.
4) don't expect anything from Mercedes for the rest of the season. Perhaps they can score good points in Spa and in Monza.
5) of course not

As much as I hate to miss even a race, I've set a goal to not watch this race. I don't believe in Hamilton's chances to win this, so why would I watch a driver like Webber winning it ? And Vettel has disappointed me so much this year, he's always taking pole and then somehow doesn't win. I have a feeling Alonso is going to win it :(

Alonso won't win the title, he's simply too far back and with too many people to pass. One of the Red Bull's will win the title, not sure which one though. They'll be strong at Suzuka, Singapore and Abu Dhabi and competitive everywhere else. McLaren lack the pace and Ferrari lack races to catch up.

Sector 1 and 3 will suit mclrean of course but i think red bull will have to much in sector 2 in the high speed corners. Monza is the track which mclaren need to score as many points as possible because after that its singapore and i can see redbull being futher ahead in lap times than hungary

I hope you're right, I'll keep my fingers crossed for Hamilton and hope the RBRs crash into each other
Off-Topic: show
Hmm... why should I update it ? If I think better, I chould crop Alonso out of that picture, since I don't like him as a person (he's a very good driver though). Or I could just put some pretty girls in the sig

I'd love to see a Force India at least somewhere near the front again!
