Good work, Phil. Althought I think you are a bit too harsh sometimes. The Renault isn't that bad. It was worse last year..

Anyway, that's my opinion. Keep up the good work :O

Was watching that vid as well only a few minutes ago. Same question came in my mind :p

EDIT : Nah... I think he was unable to see that yellow light on time. Look at the last picture I took from the onboard, his reflexes must've been VERY good to see that one.

I am curious about the result of this btw :

If I understood Martin Brundle correctly there is a rule - to get out from the car asap and put the steering wheel back, otherwise - penalty

I am sure team is not happy with it - car was crashed but steering wheel was Ok and it costs around $100K to produce
The issue is with Rubens throwing it on the track, some car (which i believe it looked to be a mclaren or a HRT) went over it, if it had got caught in the wrong place, it wcould have resulted in an accident

I think it was stupid anyway that they broguth the safety car in. All it could possibly do was create confusion. If they wanted a fanfare ending, why didn't they make it clear that they were doing that?
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

It was Karun Chandhok. And yeah you're right. In the worst scenario the steering wheel gets catapulted into the crowd..

I am absolutely with you all. At least he should've been fined, it was extremely dangerous.

Michael Schumacher has been handed a 20-second penalty for having overtaken Fernando Alonso on the final corner of the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Mercedes GP driver passed Alonso just as the safety car had left the circuit on the final lap, and stewards deemed the race was still finishing under the safety car.

Under rule 40.13, which states that "if the race ends whilst the safety car is deployed it will enter the pitlane at the end of the last lap and the cars will take the chequered flag as normal without overtaking," Schumacher has been given a penalty.

The German, who had passed Alonso for sixth, drops down to 12th, meaning Toro Rosso's Sebastien Buemi's scores the final point for 10th.
ok, Alonso can overtake under yellow, Massa can drive over the white line but Schumacher can't overtake under the green flag? That is very strange... :<>:
