yes its true but its for all the streess of race push it for hamilton. its not the first time to that happen to hamilton, in fact 3 laps before of the crash Hamilton make the fastest lap why??? you must take care of the car.

Re: 2010 Gran Premio de España
For me today:
- Button: Not great, still a nice drive to get points
- Hamilton: Super drive, unlucky
- Schumacher: Improvement but the pace was still poor
- Rosberg: A bit of a disastrous weekend
- Vettel: A few problems, not fantastic but a good result
- Webber: Phenominal, drive of the season so far
- Alonso: Very lucky, but he was there when it mattered
- Massa: Disappointing again. I like Felipe but he needs to improve
- Barrichello: Nice drive to gain 9 places
- Hulkenberg: Average, got passed too easily
- Kubica: Good drive, R30 is underdeveloped
- Petrov: FP3 crash wrecked race chances
- Sutil: A quiet drive but still good
- Liuzzi: Poor pace, pretty terrible
- Buemi: Shocking race, one of his worst
- Alguersuari: Exceeding expectations, 10th despite issues
- Trulli: Okay drive
- Kovalainen: Had a gearbox issue (lack of them)
- Chandhok: Did nothing wrong, it was the others that hit him
- Senna: Awful quali, worse race
- De La Rosa: Unlucky to get accident damage
- Kobayashi: Lap 1 contact hindered progress
- Glock: Upgrades to the VR-01 haven't worked
- di Grassi: Was anonymous again, needs to improve

Re: 2010 Gran Premio de España
What a boring race, and the 2010 rules I think make it worse! With completly fuel tank the car is tending to understeer, and with thiner front wheel, the understeer is getting worse! And when somebody follows someone else, he damaged his front tyres due to this understeer. I really don't understand why changing completly the shape of Formula 1 cars ( bigger front wing, thiner and taller rear wing, less aerodynamical grip and more mechanical grip with slick tyres ) if the year after you reduce the size of front wheels.... and with no refuelling, it's worse! ...
Anyway, Webber from start to finish 1st, welldone ( what a boring race from him lol ). Vettel again with some mechanical failure finishing 3rd, he is like Raikkonen in 2005 lol.
Alonso, 2nd, okay he should have been 4th without Hamilton's and Vettel's problems but the Ferrari is certainly not a better car than the RedBull or the McLaren. So it's, for me a great performance!
Hamilton, what a shame that rim failure, he managed to keep the same pace as the RedBulls, keeping Vettel behind him after the tyre stop. He really doesn't deserve that! By the way, his failure looks like the one of Heikki Kovalainen: in turn 1, we clearly see the left front wheel getting lose ( at least not bending in the good way ) and then boom!
Schumacher... he is 4th but again I believe he was slower than Rosberg. But he is back to a better form, managing to keep Button behind him.
Button is too gentle with Schumacher, he was faster but didn't manage to pass Michael ( maybe because Schumacher is back ? ^^ ).
Massa couldn't pass Button and Schumi ( he was faster than Michael but slower than Button ).
And I feel sorry for Chandock, was not his fault with Massa and with Alguersuari...
With no rain, the races will be like this one or even like Sakhir. Maybe Monza and Spa will be better because of low downforce circuit.
I hope Monaco will be a better race ( maybe Schumi equalling Senna ? )

Maybe trying to pressure Webber as he knew the other Red Bull had hit trouble.lealjaime wrote: yes its true but its for all the streess of race push it for hamilton. its not the first time to that happen to hamilton, in fact 3 laps before of the crash Hamilton make the fastest lap why??? you must take care of the car.
My dad kept falling asleep during the race, I even heard him snore at one point. Says it all! Seriously, F1 does need to look into ways to increase mechanical grip: in dry weather, on a circuit like this (not the overtaker's paradise but not the worst one either), you need to be several seconds a lap faster than the car in front to attempt a move (or just pull a stunning one), at the risk of ruining your tires and compromising your race. It's pretty much become a matter of having a fast car, qualifying well and lasting to the end... what about racing?
Re: 2010 Gran Premio de España
Fastest laps
- Hamilton was 0.5 secs faster than Webber.
- Petrov slowe than Kubica by 0.04 secs only.
- Massa was 0.7 secs behind Alonso.

Re: 2010 Gran Premio de España
Why would they say that ? He still was in 3rd place and even if he slowed down even more he would've finished 5th or so.phil1993 wrote:Vettel said that Red Bull told him to retire but he ignored them
Re: 2010 Gran Premio de España
He didn't "ignore" them per se. He objected to the instruction, asking if there was really no way to salvage some points, and the team let him give it a try, insisting he should go easy on the brakes.
