Then again, we all remember Ricciardo's stupendous showing after RBR's catastrophic winter as well. I don't know what to make of their 2015 package, judging from testing, but I would guess that they might end up dicing with Ferrari and Williams for best of the rest.
McLaren will be lucky if they can finish the race. It's good that they've given Alonso the recovery time he seems to require, although the aftermath of that incident remains quite unsettling. Hopefully the car won't be a danger to its drivers.

Even worse actually, for everyone not Merc.
They had a huge advantage last yr and didn't even have to push the engines. Their ~1-2 sec advantge probably was more like 3+ secs if they really pushed. They could even start development for 2015 early (which everyone did as well).
Question would be how good is the aero for the other Merc-engined cars. And of course, when will the real Honda power be seen.
