I wonder how the qualifying will be in Austin without Caterham and Marrusia, the rules states that 6 cars are eliminated in Q1 and Q2 if 22 cars are entered, now we have just 18. Just 2 drivers eliminated in Q1 ? Or will they do something else ?

I'd assume 4 cars out in Q1, 4 out in Q2 and then Q3 with 10 cars.It is almost certain they won't drop just two in Q1.

Ted Kravitz is reporting that Marussia have lodged an entry for 2015 and hope to be at the Abu Dhabi GP.

Caterham announces that they will be racing in Abu Dhabi, they raised till now 80% of their target .

And they've also announced Kobayashi will be one of its drivers. Roberto Mehri claims he should be racing in replacement of Ericsson (or Kobayashi).
