I reckon they're banking on New Jersey not happening. That's an insane run of races. Personally, less is more sometimes...

Everything makes me think New Jersey won't happen, apart from the fact it's something Bernie really wants so I don't know... Personally I hope it does.

Pretty astonishing really.

Would like to know the logic of Australia being a standalone race and then Malaysia-Bahrain back to back. That doesn't make much sense financially.

And can one day they run Abu Dhabi-Bahrain back to back...

If all 22 go ahead, that's a punishing schedule. I know people like more races but it's draining and (remember there's also 8 days of testing) it will push teams to the limit.

IMO 22 races isnt enough. No france or San marino. Normal people have 6 weeks holiday per year. Thats 46 weeks working. The should get xmas week and new years week. 4 week summer. The rest should be 8 months of races and 2 month development off season.

If its 'too much' dont do the job. Simples.

Single fuel supplier and oil supplier is a no brainer. I mean, you dont see any benefit from the fuel and oil war lol.

I really couldnt tell you what brands make any difference if at all. Just have a single supplier IE Shell for fuel and Mobil 1 for oil.

After the huge outcry about alcohol and tobacco sponsors im surprised were allowed evil fuel and oil companies who are making paul the polar bear homeless and murdering our children.

IMO 22 races isnt enough. No france or San marino. Normal people have 6 weeks holiday per year. Thats 46 weeks working. The should get xmas week and new years week. 4 week summer. The rest should be 8 months of races and 2 month development off season.

If its 'too much' dont do the job. Simples.

But 'normal' people work 9-5. It's a useless comparison to make between real life and the F1 world. You forget that 'normal' people don't work weekends either. I know of someone inside of F1 that had one day off during the last six weeks of the season last year. It's a great life, but it is shattering.

True, but 12 hour days are becoming the norm. My days are 16 hours 5 times a week lol! The other thing is these guys do it for passion. Most normal people dont like their job, grueling as it may be; your at the top of food chain.

Teams arent happy about anything. Im not happy we got pirelli for 5 years.

Oh it's brilliant, it's a wonderful and privileged existence, don't get me wrong. But it is tiring. It's the travel that does it for a lot of people, jet lag etc.

Just wouldn't feel right. Ferrari have had Shell for donkey's years, McLaren Mobil, Petronas have been around a long time. It might not make much difference to us watching the races, but I don't see why you'd want to drive a load of companies away when teams are struggling to get sponsors as it is.

When I read this I thought "no that's not right, they've only been together since 1996". But then I realised 1996 was 17 years ago. Wow!

I wouldn't mind unless we get to see figures such as MPG, power increase etc etc. We all know Vpower Nitro + gives slightly better MPG and can give some horsepower more in various road cars such as the Golf GTi as tested on Fifth gear. if we were getting to know them sort of details, it would be brilliant.

Right now, sponsorship or not; nobody knows how good any of them are bar Vpower because of real world tests.
