Hamilton was mega in his winning drive, Heidfeld drove extremely well to get second and Wurz was a surprise podium finisher but for me the driver of the race was Takuma Sato. To get sixth and finsh ahead of "nando" BY OVERTAKING THE DOUBLE CHAMP was incredible. Good work!

I had to say Nicky just because everyone keeps going on about how Lewis kept his cool but so did Nicky... The BMW is nowhere near the pace of the Maccas on a good day so he was never going to trouble Lewis, the fact he kept everyone behind him and kept his head when people were losing theres is brilliant...
my vote goes t wurz because he did a great job to get on the podium... honerable mention to taku! i was cheering and clapping when sato passed alonso! brilliant!
i cant beleive that on the F1 official site, hamilton was voted driver of the round...
what did he do? other than take the win... he did nothing, he was fast and thats it! never had any pressure! if heidfeld was faster he would have been able to put a heap of pressure on and then you would see if hamilton could have won the race!

you cant forget kovalinen comming from the back of the pack to 4th spot, his best finish to date... that was a tough run. with out a doubt the overall performance is hamiltons thoug, even though he went pole to pole he still had a lot to deal with comming from the safty cars - and im sure if alonso didnt mess up the first corner there would have been some more pressure too.... but the pressure was too much for alonso ;)

Oh my, 7 votes for Sato and 0 for Hami? What's this? I enjoyed the move and all that but come on
I voted quick Nick cause he recovered from his problems in FP3 and kept himself at the top during the whole race. He also was the only one I've heard complaining about the marbles on the track, it's indeed time to clear them up!

Alonso, future 5 times world champion
yeah i agree, sato may have passed alonso, that was great but i dont think he deserves driver of the round!
wurz or kovalainen easily, because like hamilton, they had to deal with the safety car but they had to do it while gambling their way up from last!
