No accident? What about the collision between Maldonado and Ericsson?

Thats exactly what I considered it to be, a collision, not an accident. The two wheel bangs at the start of the Chinese GP were of similar nature, and they weren't put down as accidents either.

Its a grey area, but I have to take a consistent stance. For me, something has to break off, force a pitstop, or force a retirement for it to be classified as an 'accident'. Otherwise something negligible like the Button/Perez contact in Bahrain last year would be classified as an accident, which wouldn't make much sense.

This is only how I stand on it. It is of-course subject to change if any administrators think otherwise, or if yourself or others can convince me to change my viewpoint :O

Damn!

But I have to agree, that's how it's always been and a constant stance is necessary.

While I have your attention, may I suggest that the "number of finishers" field be fixed for the next event? It shows a maximum of 24 finishers when we have a field of 22, and it's not the first time I've made a mistake because of that.

Aaand in case somebody's going to be fixing stuff, I would find it a lot more convenient if the drivers were sorted alphabetically by last name, the way it used to be. I just don't "think" by first names and I don't think most people do.

I think the best would be to delete the decision if there will be a crash or no. Cuz pepole alwaysargue if there isnt..
And its a grey area. The one with Rosberg China was a crash, and here with Pastor in Spin isnt...
Both continued racing..

@alex the contact in China was never considered as an accident, just as this one with Maldonado. It is a grey area as you say but I can assure you, we will all know an accident when we see one :)

Francois all your comments will be taken on board. I do not have the power to make these changes, but I am sure Iceman will get around to it once he has the time :)

Thank you.

Gotta say it's great to have the results so soon after the event. It will definitely help the league keep its momentum and hopefully encourage more people into tipping for each event. I'm glad iceman was able to work out this solution and that you volunteered for the job.
