I get nervous near the end if i'm winning... for some reason i forget about the flashbacks hahaha and also i drive worse when i'm not pushing 100%.
But yea the AI is pretty dumb on hard breaking corners.
Gran Turismo 6
Re: Gran Turismo 6
A bit off-topic, but since it's Spa this week, here's some nice gameplay of Senna's Lotus around the Aarden forest. The game is Project CARS which is still under development.
I like the shakiness in the replay shots. It makes it look much more livelier and realistic than GT's perfect tracking of the car in shot.

That's a game?
Apricot Hill (original track from GT4) will make a return to Gran Turismo and Brands Hatch will be in the game as well.

Not impressed with 6. Just looks like more dlc to 5.
Re: Gran Turismo 6
I think you were right. The game is out and I've wrote up my opinions of it in my blogmikhailv wrote:Not impressed with 6. Just looks like more dlc to 5.

I respectfully disagree. As someone who has actually played the game, I think the handling model feels a lot better. I also think the feel between cars is slightly exaggerated in comparison to Gran Turismo 5.tderias wrote:I think you were right. As far as content, the new tracks are great. I'm loving Willow Springs.
Re: Gran Turismo 6
The physics did seem to improve, you do have a point. And I'm glad you agree that the tracks are an improvement. It just seems to me that the leap hasn't been significant enough, but looking at GT1 to GT2, then GT3 to GT4, that seems to be in line, hence I might have been to fussy about it's negatives.Joey Zyla wrote:I respectfully disagree. Re: Gran Turismo 6
Finally played 6. And its just rubbish.
AI is still utterly poor; slamming brakes mid-apex
Racing is still rubbish; You can max your PP but the opponent will stay stay at stock level
Engine sounds still abysmal
Interiors
Still using over 700 cars from the PS2
Still far too many repeats of identical cars
Still complete lack of customisation
Its just a DLC that couldve been sold for £20.

PD should employ the developers who made this:
