Internet Explorer 8

Post by Tom Vandenhove » 16 Nov 2009, 15:09

Hello,

I downloaded IE 8 a couple of days ago. But this website is really loading slow on this new browser. And I tested a lot of other sites, and it seems to be only this one. Can someone tell me if it really is IE 8, and how I can avoid it.

Sometimes I have the same problem on Firefox 3.5 as well

The site has been slow and sluggish today, so it's not just you, and I have Firefox 3.5 (a proper browser :p ).

I think it's just slow because of all the add-ons like Twitter, live timing ... This takes ages to load !

No,they don't have any relation in this issue. Problem is with our host network!!!

We are scheduling a network maintenance on our core networking gear across all locations from 2AM - 4AM Central on Thursday, November 19. This maintenance should not involve any downtime, but will likely result in various route adjustments and moments of increased latency. The purpose of the maintenance is to clean out and reconfigure our BGP preferences, as the additional sites we have been adding have added significant complexity to our overall BGP configuration. This should allow us to clean that out to help us assure we can get you the best path possible and to make sure that if there are any route issues we can correct them as quickly as possible.

Please Submit a trace route to the server when you are experiencing this issue.

1. Open a MS-DOS prompt (cmd)
2. Type

Code: Select all

Tracert f1zone.net
3. At that point, copy the contents of the trace route window and send it to us. You may copy it by right-clicking the program window at the bottom of your screen (task bar) for the MS-DOS window, and go to Edit -> Select All. Then right-click the window again and select Edit -> Copy.

Difficult steps ? :p Then use Visualware : http://download.visualware.com/
