Tipping results will be up on Tuesday once I'm done with exams! Should be quite interesting to see who listed a Marussia/Caterham in the top 10 :p

Best of luck mate

Magnussen says Kimi was drunk when he hit him

I don't know if he had been drinking or what, but he didn't see me and reversed over my front wing and on to my car. I couldn't do anything because he was parked on my front wing and I didn't want to damage my car. So I had to wait on him and lost the position but luckily he had to pit.

What did kimi have to do then, just stand there and hope for the birds to fly him to the finish? He couldn't go forward and apparently magnussen was stuck so he couldn't do anything either. Very classy to say such a thing of magnussen, especially after hitting kimi twice already this year.

Lewis needs to stop whining and get his act together.
He started the same when he was in a battle with Alonso in 2007 but you can ignore that considering he was a rookie.

FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2014

Post by F1EA » 27 May 2014, 04:01

Difficult race to rate with so many retirements and incidents. I would give 1 more point to Hulkenberg... and take one away from Rosberg (juuuuuust in case).

Daniel Ricciardo had a pretty solid race... though it would have been good to have had Vettel racing. If just a tiny bit better than Ric he may have brought the fight to Lewis.

Now I actually do feel sorry for Vettel... He's had such bad luck. Wow. And Massa too.

Also nice to see Alonso didn't ram Kimi out of space. Would Kimi have done the same? i dont think so ;)

So yea Kimi will definitely start to feel the pressure. Sort of like Massa did.... i think he has like 2 races to get solid results or his position and "motivation" will become a talking matter again.

Am i the only one who didn't quite like that move from Bianchi on Kobayashi?
that was kinda bumper car-ish.

It's what you have to do in Monaco. As I think Brundle? said during the race, nine times out of ten that would have been an accident. He's lucky that Koba saw it coming, but even so it was some incredibly precise car control. I'm all the more impressed that Bianchi made the lunge as he's already on four penalty points.

As for Massa, yes he was unlucky, but he made for it with the race strategy and where he finished is pretty much where Williams stands.

Kobayashi should be the last to talk about moves that are considered mildly aggressive, he's had his fair share of those in the past and we've loved him for it, and I quite like Bianchi's move as well.

As has been said, its what you have to do to get past in Monaco. As we've seen with Coletti in the support race, its hero to zero stuff, so kudos to those who attempt it...

That's what i mean, 9/10 he would have crashed. And everyone would have been banging on him.

Now, Hulkenberg's pass.. that was a jewel.

But yea, Biachi's drive was superb, the pass sealed it for sure.
