Lewis Hamilton has now won every race on the calendar at least once apart from the Brazilian Grand Prix and this year’s new venues. Vettel also needs one more win to complete a clean sweep. He is yet to win in Hungary.

Victory in the Spanish Grand Prix meant Lewis Hamilton became the 13th driver to win four races in a row.

Three other drivers on the grid have also achieved that feat: Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel.

Hamilton is now eighth on the all-time list of race winners and needs one more win to equal Jackie Stewart’s tally of 27.

Hamilton also picked up his 35th pole position and now leads the drivers’ championship for the first time since the 2012 Canadian Grand Prix.

Mercedes have taken pole, won and led every lap of every race so far this season.

Only three drivers in the field have completed every racing lap this year: Nico Rosberg, Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas.

Alonso and Ferrari have now a year without winning a race. During that time only Vettel, Hamilton and Rosberg have claimed victories.

I'll go out on a limb here and say a Red Bull will win this weekend. I won't be silly and say it could be Ricciardo, but Red Bull are more favoured here than anywhere else. The nature of the track should mean that responsive, consistent handling is much more of a key factor than engine power.

I agree, certainly their power unit disadvantage will not hurt them much here, it is all about how you deal with the corners and the amount of downforce you're running so Red Bulls will definitely be much more closer this time, and they can also try a different strategy (like what they did with Vettel in 2012) and jump ahead of Mercs and we all know how difficult it is to overtake in the streets of principality...

I assume by driveability you mean power delivery/ engine feel on braking, turning and downshifting? Well, Vettel has said it was something he has struggled with all season, so it must have been an asset that deteriorated on Renault's side. But, I think the benefit RB gain with Merc horsepower nullified (to few acceleration metres) will offset the driveability issue, alongside a good aero package which we know RB are capable of delivering.

It's just a prediction. Should be fun to see how it turns out

@EliGP: It's every driver's dream to reach Formula 1. And then stay in the garage because the conditions are too tricky to drive.

Major crash in the support race, and it can't be major if Cecotto wasn't involved. Why do I feel these drivers still have a long way to go... :/
