That's embarrassingPastor Maldonado has put his Lotus into the wall on his way back into the pitlane. "I crashed," he says over team radio. "Oh, ok" is the response, before he gets out and makes the short walk to the Lotus garage.

Re: 2014 Formula One™ UBS Chinese Grand Prix
I'm hopeful that this race is as good as the one in Bahrain. I think last year's Chinese GP was a really good race.
Re: 2014 Formula One™ UBS Chinese Grand Prix
Maldonado - you're doing it wrong.
This is hilarious, Lewis complaining constantly that the car is not right and still topping the time sheets. X)
But, nice to see that Red Bull and Ferrari aren't too far back on the race pace.

Mercedes will fly tomorrow. They always tend to hide their true ace on Friday, but It might rain during qualifying

Re: 2014 Formula One™ UBS Chinese Grand Prix
Have Rosberg and Hamilton had the 'clear the air' chat about their Bahrain GP battle that the German suggested they would yesterday?
Well it's turning into a bit of a mystery. EDD STRAW is just back from the Mercedes drivers' post-session press scrums in which both men were asked if the meeting happened.
Hamilton replied: "No"...
...Rosberg replied: "Yeah, we sat down and went through everything. It's all behind us, so it's flat out full speed ahead."

Re: 2014 Formula One™ UBS Chinese Grand Prix
Seems to me there is still a bit of a problem with Vettel's car, when it works he is faster than Ricciardo, when not he is slower or close to him.
Also, this problem that Hamilton is having seems tricky and it might be related to something similar. Those bloody electronics mess with everything.

Im also sure Mercedes not showing true pace. Cuz its impossible that someone catches 1.5sec in 2 weeks

Especially on a circuit that suits them.
Could also mean that Rosberg was heavy as hell.

Ricciardo's long runs are decent. He should be able to fight the Mercedes in the race.
