Grande Prêmio Petrobras do Brasil
The final round of the 2013 Formula 1 season
It's not only the final race of the season but probably the final race at Interlagos with the iconic start/finish line. For 2014, it is intended for the pits and paddock to be moved along the Reta Oposta.

Vettel to win, boring race unless there's rain in which Vettel will still win. Errr, Vettel will win. Thats all I can think of really. Top 2 in the WDC is cemented. Webber gets a good weekend he will steal 3rd from Hamilton being just 6 points behind him.
So over all, I really dont give two shits. Constructors championship is finished now, it wont change. I dare say the drivers championship is sealed and wont change, atleast the top 7 wont change I reckon. Maybe Hulkenberg might hold some cars up with great traction in the Sauber, maybe Bottas might be able to claw a few points, Maybe Button will finally be noticeable for succeeding rather than being average.

This should make better action at the start because the first corner is faster Just the opposite happened in Silverstone. The starts are not so fun anymore.phil1993 wrote:For 2014, it is intended for the pits and paddock to be moved along the Reta Oposta.

Well it's the end of an era, with Webber leaving F1, the V8s going and Massa leaving Ferrari, for me three things that have seemingly been an ever-present in my watching of the sport.
It'd be mega if Webber could win. In my mind, he's up there with the likes of Berger and Coulthard; perhaps even above them. He's had several races where he's been unbelievable and he'll be a huge draw in the WEC.

I rate webber massively. From what my view is, Webber hates offthrottle blowing. He has never been able to get used to it because it doesnt feel natural to him, it doesnt feel right. Im sure I read that his brain just instinctively thinks what it does is wrong. Recently he has been trying to copy Vettel and in quali its working well, in the race something just always goes wrong.
To be honest, since RBR purposely sacrificed him in 2010, I dont think his heart has been there. I know he broke his shoulder and his leg too, but I think he gave up knowing he is just number 2. Though I will say, Vettel is lucky, because without Webber he wouldn't have won 2010 or 2012. So he has alot to thank Webber for.

Webber struggled with that, but also the tyres. He's not a fan of Pirelli, especially the option tyre. This is why he frequently loses time during the first stint when the drivers just have to manage it.
Re: Grande Prêmio Petrobras do Brasil 2013
Webber hasn't won a race this year so I reckon they'll let him win this one. Not sure what Vettel will make of it though.

Vettel is hungry... im sure he wont let him trough.. not after Sepang
Re: Grande Prêmio Petrobras do Brasil 2013
Webber will win if Vettel, Hamilton, Rosberg, Grosjean and Alonso crashes out.

I can't believe it's the last race
Let's enjoy the last weekend of the V8's engines.

I'm happy to see the back of the V8 engines, having never been a fan.

While they aren't as great as the V10, my god these V6 hairdryers will sound abysmal.kals wrote:I'm happy to see the back of the V8 engines, having never been a fan.

Yea they do sound tame to be honest. They're a loud whine that lacks a grunt if I can put it that way, even though the diffusers in 2011 did add some of that, it still sounded a bit fake.
Hopefully the V6s sound reasonable.

Vettel's making history, he won't let anybody challenge him. As for giving a win to Mark, you'd have to be out of your mind.
Grosjean has never run well at Interlagos, so that could be the end of his streak of good results. In all likelihood, Webber 2nd and HAM/ALO/GRO gunning for 3rd. HUL top 5, BOT top 10.

I'll wait until they come out on track before I comment. The sounds that have been shared are in test facilities, with little to no accoustics similar to a race track.tderias wrote:Yea they do sound tame to be honest. Nothing will sound as sweet as a 1990's Ferrari or Lambourghini V12, but the high-revving V10s and V8s of the past 10+ years have been a real bugbear for me. I'm glad they are going.
