2013 Airtel Indian Grand Prix

Post by phil1993 » 23 Oct 2013, 14:05

Aka Sebastian Vettel's 60 lap party in New Delhi

The circuit is a mixture of long straights (and interminably long one) and fast, flowing corners with a fair amount of run-off. Not sure about you, but to me it always feels like a sector too short

Warning: Stay off the sausage kerbs. I'm looking at you, Felipe.

I think Vettel has lead every lap ever raced in india so i expect him to win but im not sure why this track hasn't had any particularly good racing as it is a good track. Chance this may be the last Indian gp. I dont think it would be particularly missed. One less track for Vettel to dominate on.

It's actually not the number of points he's scored, it's the number of years since McLaren last won the WCC.

lmao! If only they played their cards right it would say 2007 ;D

In other news from the most unexciting and least excited fanbase for a grand prix this end of the year, Caldo is replacing di Resta for tomorrow morning due to a tennis accident. Oh wrong team, I mean illness : :n

A craven can be as brave as any man, when there is nothing to fear. And we all do our duty, when there is no cost to it. How easy it seems then, to walk the path of honor.

If this happens Vettel will become WDC in a race that was cancelled. Has this happened ever before?

I googled this but I found nothing, Vettel will win the title in India, whether it's cancelled or not! Flag:##

Vettel could win the championship without even doing anything. But imagine the controversy if the race is cancelled as the hearing is scheduled tomorrow they will already of had at least one practice session before it is decided so it could be a bit of a mess if it is cancelled.

Di Resta has Delhi belly and will miss FP1. Calado substitutes.

If I were cynical, I'd suggest Force India wanted to analyse Calado more for 2014.

They're not even trying to make it look like di Resta really is ill. They announce the day before that he will be unwell for FP1, but fine in the afternoon...

I've never been anti-di Resta, but I would love to see what positive spin his mates in the media would put on him being dropped given there are some who are incapable of criticising him. :p

Stands look very empty.

I'd forgotten about the haze/smog.
