Since when was Webber a tyre eater? Any more bollocks from Horner before the year is out?

Ever since Pirelli came into F1 to be honest.mikhailv wrote:Since when was Webber a tyre eater? Any more bollocks from Horner before the year is out?

Cant see it to be honest.

He went on the podium after they gave him the team's t-shirt.mikhailv wrote:Rbr stopped that Renau guy going on the podium because he doesnt have an rbr shirt. Disgusting
Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Vettel looks after his tyres much better, Webber can't. It's always been a problem for Webber, it's why he's vocal against Pirelli.mikhailv wrote:Cant see it to be honest.
Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Grosjean's making a pretty good case for himself. I don't even need to defend him anymore.
Surely that elusive first win can't be too far away now.

Also, lolin' at Räikkönen playing down the importance of qualifying yesterday. Oops, I guess it does matter when no lucky Safety Car helps you close the gap to the front.
Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
But webbers tyres were fine when he came in both times. He even said he didnt want a Three stop strategy in the first place....phil1993 wrote:Vettel looks after his tyres much better, Webber can't. Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Alonso beat Schumacher to the most points scored in F1. A new record.
He has 1571 points now, compared to 1566 scored by Schumacher.

Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Points record doesnt mean anything anymore. its changed far too much. You cant even adjust it as Schumacher raced in 4 points-scoring era changes, Alonso raced in only 2 or 3. Cant normalise it unless you just adapt everyones points to the current day tally in which schumacher would rape all. 91 wins? thats 2475 on its own.
Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Alonso has a different opinion. He wants to celebrate this milestone.mikhailv wrote:Points record doesnt mean anything anymore. its changed far too much. "Even if Vettel doesn't finish all the races I need to win nearly all of them so I think it's a matter of time," Alonso said. "It's true that we have different goals now like the constructors' championship; today with the problems for Mercedes we are in a better position and also today they told me I have the record of points in history so it's a happy day".
"Leading the score in one sport like Formula One is something great. I know the points system change some years ago but when someone overtakes me in the points no-one will remember the points system so let's try to enjoy the moment and have a little celebration tonight."
Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Who could it be? Grosjean did stop at the end of the pit lane, but they had well enough of a gap to the next car to manage fuel consumption for the final few laps. That would suck to be disqualified for overconsumption with 35 seconds over the next car in your pocket.
Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Let him. lol. He needs something to celebrate aside from signing for Mclaren in 2015 ;Diceman1 wrote:Alonso has a different opinion.
