Since when was Webber a tyre eater? Any more bollocks from Horner before the year is out?

He went on the podium after they gave him the team's t-shirt.

Vettel looks after his tyres much better, Webber can't. It's always been a problem for Webber, it's why he's vocal against Pirelli.

Grosjean's making a pretty good case for himself. I don't even need to defend him anymore.

Surely that elusive first win can't be too far away now.

Also, lolin' at Räikkönen playing down the importance of qualifying yesterday. Oops, I guess it does matter when no lucky Safety Car helps you close the gap to the front.

But webbers tyres were fine when he came in both times. He even said he didnt want a Three stop strategy in the first place....

Alonso beat Schumacher to the most points scored in F1. A new record.

He has 1571 points now, compared to 1566 scored by Schumacher.

Points record doesnt mean anything anymore. its changed far too much. You cant even adjust it as Schumacher raced in 4 points-scoring era changes, Alonso raced in only 2 or 3. Cant normalise it unless you just adapt everyones points to the current day tally in which schumacher would rape all. 91 wins? thats 2475 on its own.

Alonso has a different opinion. He wants to celebrate this milestone.
"Even if Vettel doesn't finish all the races I need to win nearly all of them so I think it's a matter of time," Alonso said. "It's true that we have different goals now like the constructors' championship; today with the problems for Mercedes we are in a better position and also today they told me I have the record of points in history so it's a happy day".

"Leading the score in one sport like Formula One is something great. I know the points system change some years ago but when someone overtakes me in the points no-one will remember the points system so let's try to enjoy the moment and have a little celebration tonight."

Who could it be? Grosjean did stop at the end of the pit lane, but they had well enough of a gap to the next car to manage fuel consumption for the final few laps. That would suck to be disqualified for overconsumption with 35 seconds over the next car in your pocket.
