I'm not offended. :p Sorry if my post came across as harsh, but there are too many people with tinfoil hats who can't accept Vettel has just done a better job than Webber the last few years!

I don't know what else he had to do. Winning with Marussia? I don't like the guy but he's on top now.

I guess that's exactly what people expect of Vettel right now.

Vettel deserves respect! But personally it's hard. I started watch F1 in 2003, and for some reason i can't remember I stopped watching in 2005. I however continued my F1 watching in 2011.
I just wish I had seen the 2008 season where Vettel actually were brilliant. It seems like from 2009, the history was written on forehand by starting with the RB5. It's quite unbelieveble how Newey have had so much success here and not at Mclaren with Mika, Kimi, JPM and DC in the 2001-2006 years.

As I said earlier during the race. I think Webber should have been gone for 2012. He throws away a WDC in Korea 2010 and then only a single win in 2011 (with team orders). There's other people who should have got the seat instead of Webber.

Since the Success of Red Bull and Newey, I've always had this thought of giving Karthikeyan the second seat for three races and then he can show temporarily that he is not s***. For the next three races they get Bourdais in. Then for the next three races they get Liuzzi into the seat. That would have shown what talent the driver has, cause right now, It doesn't matter if Bianchi or Hulkenberg are more talented than Massa and Rosberg, when the latter both are in better cars and look like they are better drivers.

Paul Di Resta however seems doomed, I reckon he will be back in DTM for next year or in Indycar with his cousin Dario.

Oh boy, going to be some interesting reactions to this one...

Reprimands for Alonso and Webber. Webber's third reprimand means 10 place grid penalty.

Webber's was for "onto the track without the permission of marshals" at the end of the race.

I honestly think this was unnecessary... It's stupid like not allowing flags and stuff.
Also, were they punished after Germany 2011 as well or is this a new rule?

@eddstrawF1: Credit to the FIA: made the effort to show the CCTV of what Webber and Alonso did, showing the reprimands were justified.

So it was dangerous!

I've seen the video, it was justified.

If it was dangerous, then it is justified.

Supposedly Vettel said something along the lines, that their success is due to their hard work, because they keep working their butts off, while the other teams are sitting by the pool and partying.

The FIA need to make the video public before a view takes hold amongst some people that the penalty was wrong.

Gutted for Romain. He would've been 3rd.
