Yes. Ferrari should learn a thing or two from Red Bull; by far the smartest team on the grid. Combine that with a driver like Seb and you know why they've won three world championships.Treacle wrote:Of course. But lately it seems that Ferrari tend to worsen the damage instead of limiting it.tderias wrote:I agree with you on that one, but still, it would have been a case of damage limitation anyway.
Still, Alonso did an amazing job - once again. Gotta give credit to him.

I thought we may have a Ferrari one-two today...but look what happened instead!
It was Ferrari's worst race since China last year.

I agree, last season he had a 4 point lead after Bahrain and he went on to win the championship despite all the difficulties. Now he is 10 points ahead of Kimi and seems like no other car can challenge him when he has a clear race track in front of himself.mikhailv wrote:30 point gap to Vettel. Well, Titles Vettels this year again.

Kimi makes a good point
Even in the past, if we would have put the same amount of fuel in the cars, we couldn't have run at full speed all the time, because the tyres would have gone off so I don't really think it's all that different now. We just made more stops and ran less fuel in those days. I would say that's really the biggest difference. I'm sure the tyres wouldn't have lasted long in those days

Vettel who?
I had a feeling when I was young that I could be an F1 driver

I thought Button showed a massive lack of class today. I thought Perez moved around a bit too much in China, but he did nothing wrong today. For Button to then go and describe him as 'dirty' is just plain wrong. Button was just being a whinging arse, which you don't have a right to be when you bang wheels and run your team-mate out of road.

Martin - You got what you asked. You wanted Sergio to be a little aggressive on track and i have to say that i am very happy with his performance. Trading blows with Jenson, sneaking to P6 in the last minute and his move on Alonso clearly shows Sergio took Martin's statement very seriously. Good job Perez !! I truly believe that the next person who can win a WDC with McLaren has arrived.
Re: Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix
Sergio did a VERY good job. He still needs to tidy up a bit, but i think he got the message: took no prisoners and got a good set of pts.

It will be great if we see more footage from this angle
