Tyres look blistered beyond belief already. It could only be a 3 or 4 lap first stint.

Yeah. Outside the top ten can start on new harder tyres, but if it stays dry they then have to take the softs on at some point. Could be a very interesting one!

Alonso didn't deploy DRS in his qualy lap. First I've heard of it...

Couple of light showers around in the Melbourne metropolitan area- one of which may hit the track (according to my interpretation of the radar), but nothing substantial.
