2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
The problem is Grosjean is so fast, but he's always been like this. In F3 Euroseries and GP2 as well.
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Today wasn't even a misjudgement like the other ones have been, it just looked like he wasn't looking where he was going. Focussing on the Sauber and just drove into Webber.
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Looking at the start again, Alonso moved right across the track and then expected Raikkonen to move. He's just had a really underwhelming weekend.
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Kravitz interviewing Stefano, asks about Massa's future. Stefano trying to get away, says something about one step at a time then 'I'll tell you later'

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Raikkonen is the only driver who completed all laps so far in 2012.
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Wow Herbert says Lotus should get rid of Grosjean. He's praised him a lot this season. Says he can't defend him.
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
From the moment Kamui came to a halt in parc fermé, I couldn't stop smiling for quite a while. Last time that happened to me was Valencia 2009 with Barrichello. So pleased for him. And Massa on the podium again, finally! Great race from Vettel, of course. It'll be an amazing last five races.
Couldn't agree more with Webber, Grosjean is a first lap nutcase. Ridiculous.

I'm a big admirer of Grosjean and I've defended him a lot. But what can they do? He's had a ban and is still doing it.
Time for Custard I think.

Grosjean looks very down. Not smiling anymore.
Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
I don't know what I'd do with him if I were in charge at Lotus tbh. If he's being sacked at the end of the year, I'd be a little surprised yet I could understand it. The next driver meeting won't be fun for Grosjean, that's for sure.donald29 wrote:Grosjean looks very down. Not smiling anymore.

Things are muddied by the fact Boullier is both Lotus team principal and Grosjean's manager.

Yes! Grand Slam for Vettel. The second after India last year.
I'm feeling sorry for Alonso though. He's driving so well this year and it seems like he won't win the championship again. He was very unlucky in the last few races.
Good race by Massa!

I start to feel bad for the guy seriously. Afterall, he pretty much trashes Kimi at quali's but in races, Kimi trashes him.phil1993 wrote:I'm a big admirer of Grosjean and I've defended him a lot. But what can they do? He's had a ban and is still doing it.

Only one can speculate how long Lotus is going to tolerate that, even if Boulier is one of his managers, but still.

Nice race from Massa btw. Also, Kobayashi drove solid race.
Long time from last time commenting on here.

But I think Lotus is losing too many points because of Grosjean. He gets so many penalties that they are behind Ferrari in the constructor's, even though they could be ahead of them.MavF1 wrote:I don't know what I'd do with him if I were in charge at Lotus tbh. As for the race awesome job by Vettel, and it was amazing to see Massa and Kobayashi on the podium. I reckon this is one of the rare podiums when nobody is really envious for the other's results.
