You're all naming Hamilton now, but remember Alonso did exactly the same move, and also with Rosberg in the same place.tderias wrote:So much for stewards consistency. If Hamilton got away with Bahrain, Vettel shouldn't be punished for this. Both are illegal in my view.

Horner: "I see no crime at all"
Wonder if he would say that if it was the other way around: Button overtaking Vettel off track..

That was a fantastic pitstop! They almost had the old tires off before he stopped

didn't Alonso lift and stayed behind Rosberg?

Re: 2012 - Großer Preis Santander von Deutschland
Hamilton didnt get a penalty because he literally forced off the road, kept his foot in. No advantage was gained there as he was clearly going to drive around Rosberg.
Vettel however, wasnt. Vettel wouldve ran out of road with Button being ahead coming out of the corner. Vettel only managed to get alongside and overtake, OFF the track, because he kept the momentum by having no intention to stay in track limits.
Kimi shouldve been penalised in 2009 for a similar offence.

Not that it means much given the tyres, but Schumacher's fastest lap makes him the sixth oldest driver to set a fastest lap. Of the top six four were in the 1950s, one in the 1970s.
