I wonder if it is like that in the stewards office or if it is more measured?mikhailv wrote:Sky F1 hammered Horners defence. Hill and Herbert; Class.
And they even shot his 'lewis interfered' argument to pieces too. Good on them!

To be honest, Warrick would be just as blunt if not more harsh, no cameras!mikedc73 wrote:I wonder if it is like that in the stewards office or if it is more measured?mikhailv wrote:Sky F1 hammered Horners defence. Hill and Herbert; Class.

With the interfering argument, there are no rules because it is a bit of a strange situation. I'm not one to defend Lewis, but didn't Vettel unlap himself from Lewis at the end of Brazil '08, Lewis got the title so there were no complaints, but I bet there would have been if he didn't.

Re: 2012 - Großer Preis Santander von Deutschland
No Vettel passed Lewis for position at Brazil 08. I remember Kubica unlapping himself though.

Need Alan Jones as a steward because he would probably start a punch on!mikhailv wrote:To be honest, Warrick would be just as blunt if not more harsh, no cameras!mikedc73 wrote:I wonder if it is like that in the stewards office or if it is more measured?mikhailv wrote:Sky F1 hammered Horners defence. Re: 2012 - Großer Preis Santander von Deutschland
James Hunt as driver steward would have been epic.

Brundle spot on about passing off the track.
One that sticks in my mind is Raikkonen going from about 6th to 2nd running off track at the outside of turn 1 Spa 2009.

"The penultimate race was noted for an incident where Jordan's rookie Eddie Irvine unlapped himself against Senna. The incensed Brazilian later appeared at Jordan's garage and after a lengthy and heated discussion, punched the Irishman in the face"

Jeremy Clarkson @jcrclarksonesq
Is this right? Lewis retired because he couldn't win. Is that the same as knocking over the Monopoly board when you land on Mayfair?

You're right, it was Kubica. There is no rule saying you can't unlap yourself so I don't think there was anything wrong with either move.donald29 wrote:No Vettel passed Lewis for position at Brazil 08. I remember Kubica unlapping himself though.

ITV Live steam just died, came up with "Stream deleted due to copyright infringment"
Need to rely on you guys to find out about stewards inquiry.
