If Alonso gets to front row in qualification he can take it. But with today's tyre lottery anyone getting to front in qualification can win. Plus of course what kind of stupid race tactics teams can come up with.

Lewis seems to be high in betting odds:

Is that a new building on the left coming out of the tunnel?

I know it was a logistical pain in the arse for the teams, but I liked Spain and Monaco being back-to-back these past two years. Wish it was still the case!

I think so yes. I don't mind the gap to be honest, it means we get the Indy 500 in the evening too. Mega!

I can watch old videos and laps of this circuit for ages. But one of my favourite has to be this...

That's a good one. I love this, Schumi at his best in 1996.

Not often you see Jean Todt react like that, he was usually so calm about everything. Shows what a lap it was.

Also 97 battle for pole, Villeneuve going through the last corner. Not quickest way, but great to watch. :p

And finally, in contrast to drivers pushing and giving it everything, watching them tippy-toe round and twitching at the start of 2008 is just as fun.

Ha, I was just watching that 2008 clip then you posted it :p

I miss the V10s :(

Also this

Notice how Webber makes a huge amount of time up at Piscine, but loses it in Rascasse. Vettel plays dare with the wall a lot more.

I certainly hope so too!! But don't the weather and temperatures factor heavily on the Lotus' perfomances ? Any idea what the outlook is for the race weekend ?

This is my first post here. Mainly been an observer for the past few years!
P/S: I always thought iceman1 a female until the photo posted during the Bahrain GP. :) Even so, for a fleeting moment, I thought it was the woman next to the guy!!
