The thing is that if he was off track, and somebody was coming from behind, he is supposed not come back until it is safe, and that meant waiting for Vettel to pass him. That's why I ask if Vettel is right and Karthikeyan was off track.

You are asking the wrong question. What's wrong with Red Bull?

I think Grosjean should be a test driver, he's very fast when he's racing alone :zz:

I think the wise thing to do right now is to start a campaign and ask FIA to ban HRT from participating in races :) they are dangerous for other cars...

at 0:51 you can clearly see that Karthikeyan was moving to the right and there was plenty of room at the left. I would say it was at least 50 percent Karthikeyan's fault.

It almost looks like Narain hit Vettel on purpose.

I agree. Their quali time was 6 seconds of the pace from the leader. Totally unacceptable by me. Waste of time & resources. I don't understand what these teams get out of it always running last.

today it was the 40th Grand Prix for Marussia,Caterham and HRT, they haven't scored a single point and their best position was a P12 of Kovalainen in Japan 2010... I wonder what they are really looking for, I thought this season Caterham can do something but in the first two races their performance has been disappointing, I agree that F1 needs smaller teams but what if these teams are just wasting everybody's time? They should help the sport to be more exciting but the only thing they are doing right now is ruining the race of others

Love Sniff Petrol
Just behind that McLaren gazebo, there's a French-registered van with a man selling cheeses out of the back. #F1farmersmarket
Engineer: And WHEN are you going to use a cassoulet pot? Alonso: I don't know, I just liked it, it's so rustic and French. #f1farmersmarket
Will this be the 'Oh my God they killed Kenny' running gag of F1 2012? Pastor Maldonado will ALWAYS retire just before the end? #F1

Karthikeyan has been handed a 20-second post-race penalty.

I have a question for those of you who watched Sky.

According to Motorsport-Total.com, Grosjean told Sky that
The start was fantastic. I did it well and drove carefully, but then I, sadly, crashed with Michael Shumacher, if I'm not mistaken. It happened in turn 4 and I had a spin. After that, it was a very bad race for me. It was raining harder and Kimi went to the box. We could not get both cars ready at the same time"
So, basically, he is blaming his spin to him having to wait for Räikkönen to pit, but in reality he spun and went off over a lap before Kimi was called to the box.

Is the German article wrong? Is Grosjean nuts? or is he making up excuses?

He said that Raikkonen went to the pits first and he had to stay outside on intermediates, then he couldn't handle the car well and the vision was very bad.

Okay, I have always defended the guy, but from now on, I officially dislike him. That's a plain lie what he told there :(

Mar, I think you are confused. I believe they told Romain to stay out because Kimi would be pitting...
