If qualifying is dry I reckon we'll see a Rosberg pole. Has gone well around here in the past, and Mercedes will benefit from those long straights with their super-DRS. This is assuming he doesn't make a mistake at the prospect of a good result though...

Would love to see both Mercedes at the front of the grid as it could provide some entertainment early on in the race when other cars are inevitably faster.

Same as every year - High chance of thunderstorms. We won't know until Wednesday or Thursday; even then the weather is notoriously unpredictable in Sepang. Rain was forecast in 2011 and never arrived.

I think it will be an exciting race. McLaren and Red Bull should fight for the victory. If I had to choose one driver maybe I will go with Vettel to win this one. But Button with his experience, motivated and his capacity of management of the tyres condition is also a strong candidate, also as Hamilton who is the most agressive and I think he will do everything to win here.

I´m expecting a good Qualifying from Mercedes even if in the race things can get worse, but it would be awesome to see one of them in the first row. Also let´s see what surprises will the weather bring in Malaysia we already know is very unpredictable.

Qualifying should be interesting, and I fully expect Mercedes to be devastatingly quick down the straights with their super DRS. If at least one Mercedes isn't on the front row, I will be greatly surprised.

* McLaren's front row lock out ended Red Bull dominance of 24 races on the front row

* Webber and Ricciardo is the only Aussies have both scored points in the same race

* Ricciardo becomes the 319th driver to score a F1 World Championship Point.

* Every driver on the F1 grid has now scored with exception of the French - Grosjean, Vergne and Pic

* Jenson leads the F1 points for the 1st time since 2010 Canadian GP

* McLaren leads the F1 Constructor Points for the 1st time since 2010 Hungarian GP

Nice stats Kevin. I see Jenson winning this one too. He seems like he has reached a very high level in his career.

I agree with you on Jenson. He really does strike me now as a driver with the ability to utterly dominate. He gathered so much experience when he was in bad cars so that when he's finally presented with a good one, he's devastatingly good.
